Almost Queen occasionally plays some lesser-known album tracks, such as Flash, Spread Your Wings, Love of My Life, as well as other hidden gems. And of course, no Queen tribute concert would be complete without classics like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, and We Are the Champions! It’s no wonder fans keep coming back for more, attending again and again to experience the music of Queen in a manner that only Almost Queen delivers.

Steve Leonard

Almost Queen guitarist Steve Leonard has been playing guitar and writing songs since the time of his first rock concert at Brendan Byrne Arena (Whitesnake). Walking the fine line between John Denver and Frank Zappa, he resists judgment and prefers to just let the music flow. Steve has an instinctive propensity to rock, as the guitarist for Queen tribute band should.

Steve’s brand-new album, “The Good Wheel,” is now available across all popular digital music stores and streaming platforms. The album showcases Leonard’s unique blend of rock and reflective songwriting, with musical contributions from notable musicians, including Eric Slick (Dr. Dog) on drums, Dave Dreiwitz (Ween, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead) on bass, John Skehan (Railroad Earth) on mandolin, and more. The album cover features stunning hand-drawn psychedelic artwork by artist Josh Levy (Asheville Art Family), bringing Leonard’s vision to life.
